Following a 20 year career in church based non-profit work doing leadership development with college students (2000-2015) and planting and pastoring a church in CT(2015-2022), Andrew and his wife Lauren (of 20 years and counting!) settled back in Charlotte in 2022 with their 3 children (Haddie 2011, Evelynn 2013, Aliza 2020). Andrew had a desire to use his gifts to help leaders solve some of our cities greatest problems while helping some of the most vulnerable in our communities. When he was invited to launch Mission Charlotte as the founding Executive Director in the fall of 2022 it was the perfect convergence of passion and opportunity. Andrew is thriving as he leverages his training as a coach, his entrepreneurial bent and his love for leaders with his commitment to the church and Christian nonprofits.
Andrew graduated from Davidson College, has his Masters of Divinity Degree from RTS and is soon to complete a joint doctoral degree in Theology and Organizational leadership from the University of Edinburgh and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Lauren is the middle school science teacher at Greyfriars Academy. They both enjoy serving with their church, coaching their girls in soccer and lacrosse, and playing with their dogs and family in the creek behind their house.”
